Interesting concept. Not heard of that before.

Seems there are several videos on this stuff. Here is one of several reviews.

AMMO REVIEW: .223 DRT 55 gr Leadless HP (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5Eh97FPWfk#ws)

1st cup of coffee thoughts...

For hunting:
Accidentally hit something in the shoulder (or bone in general) and you've got instant hamburger (and a fair bit of ruined meat) I'd think someone would never be able to find all those fragments before it got ground up and served to family & friends on a bun. Or - (and this is what I worry about when hunting) I take a less than ideal shot, nick a vital, and I've got walking to do. I'd be concerned a fair number animals would not be found, and/or die a slower/inhumane death vs conventional ammo.

Home defense:
No way Jose.

ps.
Personally, I am always skeptical when a company needs to use "hot chicks holding guns" on its packaging to sell a product. I see the two gals back to back and ask myself "where's Danica?" Looks like a go-daddy commercial is about to break out

Time for 2nd cup.  :D
