Hey Ed.

Heres the cause of "big blue spark".

Next project will be replacing the electrical connection terminal block. Found replacment on eBay.

Yeah...lets not use the dryer until you replace that.

Well you could say that your laundry is sparkling clean! :P

That tends to occur due to vibrations. The connections slacks up and there you go, fireworks...

Tighting up the screws on the contacts block is not enough, you'll have to get that cable clamp solidly attached to the body of the dryer, so no vibrations could make their way to the connections.

Yep.

And in typical female bullsh*t, she complained for a week about it being broken (has piles of laundry to do) and has used it twice since fixed... Ah well. Shouldnt surprise me. Par for the course around here.  ::)

Ah well. least I learned something new about something I didnt have a clue about, which is what its all about, right?
