Do not use 3rd party utilities to configure your game settings. In another thread we explained how to change your FOV in your settings.ini folder by yourself. Adjusting settings by yourself is ok (those settings that are available to be adjusted, lol).
There are a few programs now being "offered" that will allow people to adjust their game settings. I've read a few threads now in the SGA area of PBbans about these utilities causing problems on a few fronts. Both can cause a ban flag (by no fault of yours) but such a ban will cost you more than a new game disk to play online. As mentioned before, with our partnership w/ PBbans, any person properly baned via EB, must be removed from the clan. So, please do not use 3rd party software to adjust your ingame settings. Key loggers have been found that will steal your game key, as well as a straight out flags from EB.
Any settings these programs claim to be able to adjust, you can do yourself :)
Ask for help if you need it. I'd rather have to answer your questions here, than be forced into the position of asking a friend to leave over something as stupid as someone wanting to be lazy.
