Warning: Activision email going around
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just received an email this am from what appears to be Activision, in regards to a change of policy email.
Dear Activision Registered Users,
We recently made some changes to our online privacy practices and, accordingly, we have updated our Privacy Policy so that it accurately reflects the new practices of Activision.com and all other sites controlled by Activision. Our updated privacy policy is now available at www. activision.com/index.html#privacy|en_US|type:privacy (the url shown in the email links to another url and is dangerous -rudedog).
If you have any questions about the new Policy, please contact us at www. activision.com/support. If you would no longer like to be a registered user of Activision, please click here.
Activision
www .activision .com
You can either read the policy or reject it, all links are bogus and should not be clicked if you're running any Windows OS.
The email states it's from newsletters@activision .com but is actually sent from Activision-muukll1bkrlriyij1y@cmail2 .com (71.83.130.200])
Normally I'd inform/send/forward this stuff to Activision in regards to these fishing attacks as well as piracy, but they don't seem to do anything about this stuff , nor do they say "got it", "thanks", "we'll look into it" anymore so I'll post it here and hope they find it.
