Title: Special paragraph
Post by: joe9142 on September 15, 2010, 03:33:50 PM
This is a most unusual paragraph. How quickly can you find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so ordinary you'd think nothing is wrong with it – and in fact, nothing is wrong with it. It is unusual though. Why? Study it, think about it, and you may find out. Try to do it without coaching. If you work at it for a bit, it will dawn on you. So jump to it and try your skill at figuring it out. Good luck – don't blow your cool!

first one to figure this out is smarter than a 5th grader  ;)

So I google this shizzle and answer is that there is no 'E' anywhere in the paragraph. But I don't get it. There is no Z in the paragraph either, or a Q for that matter. Maybe they're talking about in the sense of methylene-deoxy-methamphetamine, the street name for 'E'?
I didn't see any of that in there. If there was, there wouldn't be any there now bc I would have taken it.

The reason that no "E" is so special is that "E" is the most commonly used vowels in the English language.

I would like to see you write a 9 sentence paragraph with out using the letter "E" and it made sense.

I used  30 "E's" in this post alone.

BTW groove you cheated

I can say at least you were Honest about it though.  :)

I do not want to be a party pooper, but I couldn't help but notice that the word 'special' does appear to have an 'e' in it....

special is not in the paragraph it is just what I called the thread.

that is why unusual is used in place for special in the paragraph.
