Who wudda thunk it... A year ago today I went public with what is now our old forum, and the beginning of 308! It was Dec 3rd when I began setting up the new/old site. I had been dropping hints to those back at rip that I was very unhappy with how things were being run (or not run, lol) and I had "something new in the works".

The "something" was 308, and a new direction for like minded people that wanted a drama free environment to gather, and play with clanmates that didnt rely on enhancements, side stacking, or ego driven nerddom, to have a good time...

What I could have never anticipated was the great group of guys that have joined the ranks! I am amazed at how lucky I was to have so many great guys/players that seemed to have gravitated to our group. I cant articulate my appreciation to all of those that played our server enough to get to know us, and eventually gave into my unrelenting pestering to join a mellow bunch. I appreciate the lack of ego that we have in the group.[]

We have an amazing chemistry that allows teamwork to trump individualism... A strength/conscience that promotes fair play over individual goals. And a concern for others that allows for topics beyond the norm.

I am a very lucky guy indeed... I steped away from a group I was disappointed in. I made the decision that if I could run their clan, I might as well run my own. And thats exactly what I did! Thanks to all of you that had faith enough in me, to step out into the unknown and follow me into something completely new, "sight unseen".

Heres to .308 in 2009! Cheers!

Was looking for a topic in the general area of the forum and stumbled onto this topic.  I'll check the photo bucket links and see if I cant update/fix the post 



Might take this time to again thank those members that helped make 308 what it is today. I'd also be remiss if I neglected to thank those no longer with us, in their contribution to the clans successes. Wheres Jerb?
