That's really sad. The day before, about eveyone involded in the havok would have invited each other over for a good meal at their respective tables. And now they're walking over each other for a freaking half priced toaster oven...

Events like these makes me love on-line shopping! Pushing bits instead of butts.

Anyone had a good shopping spree on the Black friday?

Yeah, Palmetto State Armory had a sale. Got several items that made me pretty happy  Was hard to say no when they have lowers for $50! Pain meds got the best of me, and somehow the clicker started clicking.

They have a good "day after Christmas" sale thats also pretty good, so will prolly drop a dime or two there in a month or so

Sure is nice not blowing my spare scratch on PC upgrades every 6-9 months!

Yup, you nailed it, Butt.

No shopping spree for me, but my wife picked up couple of records at 20% off from our local records on-line shoppe up here. A good deal of canadian merchants are picking up the Black friday and Cyber monday tradition that you have down there, and it seems to grow in importance with each and every years over the past 5-6 years, in my impression.

Here in Canada, gun shops are sparse. We can't have nothing but hunting firearms without a special ownership licence. No pistols, no auto nor semi-auto rifles. You can have special permissions for those restricted guns, but you have to register the gun, prove your handling abilities to have your licence, and justify the usage regulary (for sport as an example). I personnaly don't own any gun.
