Plato said some 2,400 years ago, "necessity is the mother of invention". If it can aid in the removal of even part of the problem, its worth a shot. I am sure BP could use some good PR right about now. Buying up some of this years hay surplus would also benifit some of the reigonal farmers. The move wont save them lawsuits from the fisheries that will loose business this year, but would at least "look good" in their efforts to begin to mend fences.
