are your drives spinning up? are you getting boot sounds from your speakers? if it's just a black screen check your monitor cables and graphics card. There's some great tech help alot of the guys can offer but we're gonna need some more info. Best of luck!

if your motherboard has integrated graphics, try removing your graphics card and running of of just the integrated. my guess is that's your problem. what hardware are you running?

damn man. nice setup. i would try the graphics card in a different pci slot . if there's still no dice, see if you have an old spare laying around to see if that's your problem

Also, what motherboard do you have? As a sanity check, if you pull out the ram from your motherboard, and then turn on the PC, do you get a bunch of beeping?
Also, the GPU (video card) also should spin up (loudly) on boot, and then spin down as the BIOS wraps up. Does the fan on the video card stay loud, or simmer down after a couple seconds?

The reason I asked about the black screen of death is I had the issue when I tried to set my ram to 1600.  It is 1600 and the mobo was only recognizing it as 1333.  Found out later I had bad ram.  I will never buy GSkill again.

Black screen with no pointer is normally gpu as others have already said.

Go to their homepage, look for the support link. You will need to request an RMA if its still covered. Most times you just need a copy of the receipt showing the date purchaced. good luck

Time to trash it and buy a new one.  May I recommend an ATI over an Nvidia.  I think Nvidia missed the boat with their drivers for BF3.  I keep having driver-related issues (Zed as well).  But when mine crashes I get bootlog errors I have to fix with system restore or revert to a savepoint.  My old rig, (the one my son plays on) is running an ATI 1/4 the size of my 560ti 2gb in ram and he has no issues.  I know it goes without saying, but don't count on windows to find the best driver.  Download it yourself from the manufacturers website.
