Title: Hey! Guys!
Post by: Balistics101 on May 29, 2012, 05:56:38 PM
Longtime no talk to!! been busy with school and what not and I've decided to start rebuilding my computer as of right now. I needed some help on picking out a
graphics card so I thought to myself, "hey 308 has some guys that know all about this stuff".

I have been looking at this one for sometime now not sure 192bit would be compatible or would it?

Would something like the graphics card above fit into a HP-1054 (all the info is in the link below)

I know its a HP haha but my parents bought it for me so, cant argue with that! haa

If you were to upgrade this computer , how would you do it? and on a low budget.

I'd say anything w/ one G of ddr5 will be plenty. If you can afford a card w/ a larger ammount of ram, then do that.

One must accept the reality of PC game development being directly tied (limited) by that of the greater selling unit numbers sold through consloe.  The bottom line from the above article tells us what most of us have felt for a while. What you or I have PC wise now, will be fine for several years to come. So, whatever you choose within your budget, should be fine.

I agree with you 100%, I didnt really think of that.  :)

Alright it definitely clears up the fact that I don't need to spend a huge chuck of change on a graphics card
