Due to the news released earlier this week related to no server rentals, 308 will obviously not be supporting Black Ops 2 as planned.
I'd suggest anyone that has pre-ordered the game to cancel your pre-order. If your asked to give a reason for your cancel/refund, simply put "No server rentals for PC"
PC gaming is slowly getting squeezed out. PC clans (you and me) are the one getting shown the door.
Get the game later if you want, but do it later - post launch. If no one complains, it wont be long till clan PC gaming is a distant memory.

Hey guys I havnt seen or heard much from most of ya.. No news is good news eh,,
Listen Ive posted once or twice about getting in on some COD gaming.. It hasn't exactly went so well (little too nothing..)
I was just looking at BOP3, (on Steam) and happened too see the link posted!
Obviously it could be smoke n mirrors OR not really what was expected, but I was thinking of this post while I was reading..

We’ve still got a lot of work left to do, but here’s our current plan:
•You will be able to create Maps & Game Modes and more!
•We will include Unranked Dedicated Server Files with the tools so you can run servers with modded content anywhere you choose.
•We will provide an Unranked Server Browser so you can easily find and join servers with modded content.
•Closed Alpha target date: March 2016
Please remember that this is software development, so things don’t always work out exactly as planned. Sometimes features slip or drop off altogether, sometimes they get replaced with other, more awesome features as we hit into limitations of our original plans.
There is much more news to come including updates on Open Beta timing. In order to keep you informed, we’ll periodically publish developer blog posts to share our progress with our fans. Stay tuned to the Treyarch blog for more information.

Thanks for the info. Hope they follow through w the mod tools.
Personally, wont be paying the asking price for blops.
Have pre-ordered starwars, but will probably be testing the origin "satisfaction guarantee" due to the matchmaking/no server rentals.
