308 was formed back in 2007 by Butt and a few like minded adult gamers playing BF2142. They felt they needed a place to play together that was free from hackers, padders and cheaters. So 308 was born.

During that period the 308 BF2142 game servers had a reputation in the gaming community as a well administrated place to game in fun.

Teamwork, fair play and communication has always been at the heart of 308 and this ethos has continued through the years and into the games we play to-day.
