And I ended up putting together a little gaming machine.

Now this doesn't mean I am back, by any means, but I will very likely see you guys around from time to time.

Here's the setup...

AMD Phenom II x4 960t (3ghz quad core) working my way up to 4ghz on air.  Just messing around I was able to unlock it to 6 cores, prime stable, too.
Asus MATX 880g motherboard
Sapphire HD6850 oc'd to 900 core 1170 mem
AOC 1920x1080  24"LED monitor - actually I picked up four of these (see below)

I have been through a few rounds of BFBC2 and it looks like I may be able to swing BF3.  Haven't gotten it yet, but I think it's going to happen.  Wouldn't be opposed to a 6950 if the eyecandy is too dissapointing.

I even did a couple rounds of2142 titan this morning.  LOL.

I picked up a headset too, but I am not set up for my VOIP yet.  I will be.

(Monitor story)
So, I walked into hhgregg yesterday, looking to price some 24" monitors for this planned rig...  I stood by the 24 they had on display and this sales guy comes over...  He asks me if I have any questions.  I say "not really, but do you have any other 24s I can check out?"  He reaches in his pocket and pulls out a stack of price tags.  He says, "well, actualy, I do have this one AOC 24 for $16."  I kinda laughed as if he was pointing out a misprint their store printer had made.  I asked to see this $16 monitor and he proceeds to take me to the front of the store where there's a little row of monitors sitting.  There are 4 of them.  Taking him a little more seriously, my minds starts working and I say, "if you can do $16, i'll take them all."  So, we head to the terminal and he puts them in...  They came up at $15.99 each.  Semi-long story short, I walked out with 4 screens and a pocket $71 lighter.  I was kinds psyched.  Never tried eyefinity, but i am going to now.  Never in my life have I walked into such a lucky situation.  Pretty cool IMHO.

So, anyways, I'll be seeing you guys around here in the near future.

I'll take one of those monitors for $30.  That's a $14 profit!
