I guess bad balls, are better than blue balls?
Sounds like the new ball being used for this World Cup is getting alot of negitive reviews from the players. Heres a story from the BBC that has a more positive spin.

The only players i have heard complain about the world cup ball are the goalkeepers. Thats because they know that the ball is lighter nowadays and will move about alot more. Therefore they will more than likely let in more goals. Thats y only the keepers have complained, no-one else is, as more goals = a better tournament in everyones mind.
Keepers will do anything to shift the blame away from them. "Of course it was the balls fault, i mean ur perfect, u never concede goals"
Everyones at the exact same disadvantage if the ball is that bad so i dont see y they are complaining. They are grown men, deal with it and just play

Anyone have Greens address? I'd like to put him on my Christmas card list.
ROBERT GREEN England Vs USA World Cup 2010 ERROR
hehehehehe. Guess he had problems w/ the new ball?
Not quite sure what to make of the match... As poor of a job as the US did in the attacking midfield, I am supprised they did not get beat by 3 or 4 goals. It was my hope that the sloppy play @ midfield I saw in the pre cup friendlies, was due to the team not wanting to get people hurt before the tournament. But now it looks like the US midfield just is not very strong.

What a tube. England goalkeepers have been known for their mistakes. Dont know why Joe Hart (voted best goalkeeper in the EPL this season) isnt Englands number one. Best keeper by far but overlooked due to his lack of international experience. Another great reason y England will not win the World Cup.
Dont think the (bad) ball had anything to do with the goal. Didnt seem too troubling as it came at green. Just got positioned all wrong and didnt get his hands in the right place.
I think the US should get through, they are a good side, better than algeria and slovenia. Just have to wait and see.
